The factor
Change degree Fahrenheit to Celsius first, then into degree Celsius. Celsius and kelvin use the same size step. Fahrenheit and Rankine use a smaller step: nine of those degrees fit in five Celsius degrees. °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9. K = °C + 273.15. °R = (°F + 459.67).
